This class supplements your OSHA 30 Hour Construction Training with safety procedures and requirements set forth by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Safety Health Requirements Manual. The course is designed for Contractors and their employees who work on Federal and Military projects where USACE Standards EM 385-1-1, November 2014, are enforced. The OSHA 30 Hour Outreach Training for Construction is a prerequisite for this class per the US Army Corps of Engineers. A copy of your US Department of Labor (OSHA) wallet card is required before class attendance.

Class dates: February 27-March 1, 2017 8am-5pm
Note: For contractors working at the Denver VA Hospital, 24 Hours of EM 385-1-1 Training is required by the US Army Corps of Engineers to supplement your OSHA 30 Hour Construction training.

EM 385-1-1 Contractor Safety 24 Hours
The 24 Hour EM 385-1-1 builds on knowledge garnered in the OSHA 30 Hour Construction Outreach Training. Where OSHA/ State OSHA rules apply to commercial and residential construction projects throughout the country, the US Army Corps standards found in EM 385-1-1 are used specifically and will trump OSHA rules on many Federal and Military projects. The Army Corps EM 385-1-1 rules are generally more stringent than the OSHA safety Standards.
